Booking Process
To book our soft play party hire services, please follow these simple steps:
You can either book directly using the book now button under the set that you prefer. This is the easiest option if you live in the 20km radius of Mudgeeraba.
Or you can go to the bottom of the page to the Get in touch section where you can connect with our friendly team either by email or the ‘contact us’ section at the bottom. Let us know your preferred date, package choice, and any specific requirements you may have, let us know if you live out of the 20km from the Robina area and we will let you know any extra costs that may be required due to distance travelled.

Availability Check: Our team will check the availability of your preferred date and package and provide you with prompt feedback.
Quotation: Once all details are confirmed, we will provide you with a detailed quotation outlining the pricing and inclusions of your chosen package. This quote will include a $200 bond that will be required in case our equipment becomes damaged at your event. Provided there is no damage and there is no excess mess on our equipment, your bond will be returned to you.
Deposit: To secure your booking, we will require the $200 Bond and also half the cost of the soft play set payment within 48 hours of being sent your invoice. If you confirm your booking this will mean that you have accepted the Terms and Conditions that will be sent to you.
Details of the deposit amount and payment methods will be provided in the quotation.
Finalise Details: Closer to your event date, we will confirm all the final details, including delivery and setup timings. Rest assured, our experienced team will handle the setup and dismantling of the soft play equipment. We will require the remaining portion of the payment to be made 7 days prior to your event.

We are based in Robina and are happy to provide free delivery within the local area of 20km radius of Robina. Please feel free to contact us if you are outside of the area but an additional fee will be discussed with you depending on the distance outside of the radius.

Our preference will always be to set up out soft play indoors or in your own backyard. If you choose to have your party outdoors in a park for example, It is completely up to you to ensure that you obtain the approval from the venue or obtain a permit for any public parks if required.

Yes, we do require a $200 bond in case any damage to our equipment occurs whilst your party is running. This Bond will be refunded to you once we have inspected our equipment usually on the next business day.

Once your party is confirmed that the date is available and the soft play set you would like is also available we will send you through an invoice. You are required to pay $200 to our bank account within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. This will then confirm your booking and that set will no longer be available to hire by anyone else. The remaining costs will be required to be paid 7 days prior to the event.

It is always a good idea to have a backup indoor area planned in case any bad weather is predicted. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund if this happens, instead we will work with you to try and see if another event date can work.
Having a backup plan will be the most stress free option for you and also us. We want to avoid our equipment getting wet as we want to look after our equipment so it stays looking good.

By booking any hire package you hereby accept the following terms and conditions.
Health and Safety
Cloudplay Event Hire is covered by Public Liability Insurance, however we accept no liability for any injury, illness or even death that may occur as a result of using this equipment. The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Please note that all persons using this soft play equipment do so at their own risk and it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the following safety guidelines are adhered to at all times during use.
The hirer/supervisor of the event must be a responsible person, over 18 years of age who is not intoxicated. They must supervise the use of the hired equipment at ALL times during the hire period. Cloudplay Event Hire do not supervise the event for which the equipment has been hired. However, we may do so for public events at an additional cost to the hirer and subject to staff availability. Contact us for supervision rates.
Ensure that the equipment is not overcrowded and limit numbers of children using the equipment to ages and sizes that are appropriate to help prevent accidents and injuries from occurring. Do not allow older/larger children to use the equipment at the same time as younger/smaller children.
Please note that there is an age limit of up to 5 years on our equipment at present. Please ensure that no one over this age uses the equipment.
Do not move any of the equipment following setup by Cloudplay Event Hire staff as this may result in injury upon use or damage to the equipment. Photographs will be taken immediately following setup as evidence. If any damage occurs to the equipment during the hire period an additional repair fee will be charged according to the cost of the repairs required.
No food, drinks and/or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the hire equipment at any time in order to avoid choking and mess. Cloudplay Event Hire performs routine cleaning on all of its equipment, however if the equipment is found to be in an excessively messy or unclean condition upon collection an additional cleaning fee will apply according to the associated cleaning costs required because of this.
No glass is to enter the soft play area at ANY time. Broken glass could result in serious injury and/or damage the equipment.
Shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges and any other sharp objects MUST be removed prior to entering the soft play area. Parents/guardians who enter the soft play area must also remove their shoes. This helps to prevent injuries from occurring and also protects the equipment from damage. For hygiene reasons socks MUST be worn at all times in the soft play area.
Do not allow any child who has reported any illness symptoms and/or open wounds to enter the soft play area at any time. This will avoid the spread of illness, infection or disease.
There are to be no acrobatics or gymnastics type activity performed on the soft play equipment at any time. Strictly no jumping, pushing, intentional colliding or any behaviour that is likely to result in injury to self or others.
No smoking, barbecues, lighters, toys, pets or animals to be on or near the hire equipment at any time.
Please ensure that the area of 1 metre surrounding the soft play equipment is kept completely clear.
No one is to be on the equipment during the setup or dismantling period as this could result in injury occurring.
Please note that a full ball pit (of 2000 balls) is not recommended for ages 2 years and under. Please ensure that where a full ball pit is hired no person’s head is completely submerged/covered under the balls as this creates a risk of suffocation or other injury resulting from not being seen under the balls. Children must be supervised at all times by the hirer.
It is recommended that shade is available for all outdoor setups, especially in hotter months. The external material of our equipment can get very hot, making burns possible. Cloudplay Event Hire accepts no liability for this or other injury as stated above.
General
No substances or materials including but not limited to face paints, bubbles, confetti, party poppers, streamers, silly string or stickers are to come into contact with the equipment at any time. If any stains are on the equipment as a result of this, an additional cleaning fee will be charged or an equipment replacement fee may even be charged if staining is unable to be removed. Cloudplay Event Hire are aware of the condition the equipment is in prior to each hire and photographs are taken following all setups as evidence of this.
The hirer will be responsible for any loss of equipment during the hire period and will be charged accordingly.
Any damage to the equipment must be reported immediately to Cloudplay Event Hire.
If the hirer is not happy with the setup of the soft play equipment, they must state this at the time of setup prior to signing the DELIVERY AND SETUP ACCEPTANCE form.
Booking and Cancellation
All prices are subject to change at any time, however if a booking has been made the price quoted at that time will not change.
All Bookings are only secured once a 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid, to avoid disappointment.
If the booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to the event, your 50% deposit will be forfeited as it is non-refundable. However, if cancellation occurs in excess of 7 days prior to the event, the hirer will be issued a credit for the amount of the booking fee, which may be used to rebook the event at another date within a period of 6 months after the initial booking date, subject to availability.
The balance is payable through bank transfer seven (7) days prior to the event.
Upon delivery of equipment, you will be required to sign a DELIVERY AND SETUP ACCEPTANCE form to confirm receipt.
In the occurrence of bad weather for outdoor bookings, contact will be made by us on the day of the event to cancel or offer a change of venue or relocation of the setup to an indoor area. If there is no availability for change of venue or relocation, resulting in the event being cancelled we will provide the hirer with a credit for the amount of the booking fee to be used within a period of 6 months as stated above, subject to availability of equipment and staff availability.
Hire rates for all packages are subject to change at any time. This rate will be secured upon booking and deposit.
Delivery and Setup/Pack up
There are no charges for local delivery as this is included in our hire charge. Additional delivery fee will occur for delivery and setup outside of the 20km from Mudgeeraba. Contact us for delivery rates if your event is outside of the local area. This fee is determined at the discretion of Cloudplay Event Hire and is subject to change.
There is no setup or dismantle/collection fee as this is included in our hire charge.
Please allow 1 hour prior to the event for setup and 1.5 hours following the event for dismantle, cleaning and collection of the equipment. We are often offered assistance upon setup and pack up. Although this is appreciated, it is not necessary and the hirer or persons associated with the hirer do so voluntarily and are not covered by Cloudplay Event Hire insurance policy.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure ease of access to the venue for setup/collection of the soft play equipment. Any restriction must be reported to Cloudplay Event Hire prior to the event.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that there is adequate space available for the soft play setup and also for the required clearance space around the setup. Please check the measurements carefully prior to confirming your booking. For health and safety reasons, we reserve the right to remove certain items from the hire package if there is not adequate space available. If items are removed under these circumstances the total fee will still be charged.

WHO ARE WE?
We are Brown and Louise, who, along with our four children, live on the Gold Coast. In April 2024 we purchased CloudPlay Event Hire from a wonderful couple who had worked hard in setting up CloudPlay Event Hire.
During the day Brown is an Electrician, and Louise has a background of Paediatric Nursing.
With the background of Paediatric Nursing, education, and working along side Occupational Therapists and Physio’s in the past, Louise has learnt so much about child development and the importance playing has in this. Learning cause and effect, developing co ordination and muscle strength in the early years are so important, impacting on rhythm, reading and writing coupled with the ability to concentrate in the school years following. So when we saw the opportunity to be apart of a business that creates the environment for pre-schooler aged children to develop these skills whilst experiencing joy, we knew it was for our family.
